The stingray species we use for our Galuchat leather is a by-product of the fishing industry. It is not classified as endangered and is therefore not subject to CITES regulations.
For over 10 years, AKNAS has selected goat-style sheepskin tanning for the lining of our maroquinerie and bags. This leather offers a smooth and refined touch, greater resistance than lambskin, and a balanced density that provides durability and excellent workability for luxury leather goods.
